After the surgery

The success of the surgery and the durability of the implant depend critically on the quality of post-operative care and your cooperation. You will be asked to do exercises soon after the surgery. Physical therapy will help you use your knee joint again, and will strengthen your femoral and pelvic muscles, resulting in your regained mobility as soon as possible.

Because the ÆQUOS joint imitates the real knee joint so closely, the ligaments and muscles do not need to be readjusted, and all movements seem familiar and natural.
This greatly shortens the rehabilitation period, because you do not need to relearn basic movements such as climbing stairs.
